I am really excited to be telling you about the top 10 wide receivers in the NFL. These 10 men are some of the best of the best and I think they all have very unique talents. Each one of them brings something special to the game and it makes watching football so much more enjoyable when you know how good these players are.
The first name that comes to mind when I think of wide receivers is Julio Jones. He is an absolute beast and he is one of the most dominant wide receivers in the league. Julio has been an indispensable part of the Falcons offense since he was drafted in 2011 and he has consistently produced at a high level. His career average of 16.2 yards per reception is impressive and he is also one of the best wide receivers when it comes to blocking.
Following closely behind Julio is Antonio Brown. This guy is quite simply a game changer. He is a legitimate deep threat and his ability to catch a football in tight coverage is unparalleled. Antonio also leads the league in receptions and touchdowns and he has the speed and agility to make any coverage look nonexistent. He is a truly elite wide receiver and you can bet the Steelers are happy to have him in their lineup.
The third name that comes to my mind is Dez Bryant. He is one of the most physical wide receivers in the league and his physicality makes him a real asset for the Cowboys. His ability to come up with big catches on third downs is indispensable and his desire to win is infectious. Whenever the Cowboys need a play to be made, they know that Dez will be able to turn up the intensity and make it happen.
Those three wide receivers certainly stand out to me, but there’s still 7 more to cover! Odell Beckham Jr. is another great wide receiver and it’s not hard to see why. He has an incredible combination of speed and agility that makes it seem like he’s always a step ahead of the competition. He also has great hands and he’s not afraid to make the tough catches.
A.J. Green is another elite wide receiver who is always ready to make a big play. He is a powerful, yet, graceful athlete and he has the ability to make amazing catches in double coverage. There’s no doubt that he is one of the best wide receivers in the game and he’s a key part of the Bengals offense.
The number 7 on my list is Mike Evans. This 6-foot-5-inch beast of a man is one of the best deep threats in the league and he’s absolutely fearless. Mike has the amazing ability to make big catches in traffic and he also has an outstanding size matchup with almost every cornerback. He is definitely one of the best wide receivers in the NFL.
Demaryius Thomas is the 8th wide receiver on my list. He is an incredibly reliable target for any quarterback and his ability to consistently make catches is impressive. Not only that, but his size and strength make him a very difficult match-up for anyone. He also has great speed and the Broncos are happy to have him in their lineup.
The last two guys on my top 10 list are Larry Fitzgerald and Brandon Marshall. Larry Fitzgerald is a dependable target for the Cardinals and his ability to make tough catches makes him invaluable to the offense. Brandon Marshall has been one of the most consistent wide receivers in the NFL since coming into the league. He is a larger-than-life presence on the field and his physicality makes opposing cornerbacks shudder.
Those 10 men are truly some of the best wide receivers to ever play the game. It’s always a pleasure to watch them play and they bring out the best in other players on the field. All 10 of them are talented in their own unique way and I think it’s truly amazing to watch them put on a show on Sundays!
