Wow, have you heard of Michael Singletary? He’s an amazing NFL Hall of Fame linebacker. For anyone who’s never heard of him, he played for the Chicago Bears for twelve seasons and made ten Pro Bowls. He’s also got a son in the NFL too. It’s totally wild, isn’t it?
I heard about it from one of my buddies, who’s a huge fan of the Bears and all the Bears’ greats. He was telling me about how the NFL’s already had a few father-son duos before, but none as amazing as this one. And, he said, that the Singletary brothers were going to be something to watch.
Well, it turns out that Michael Singletary’s son is a defensive lineman. He plays for the Arizona Cardinals, so there’s now a Singletary playing for the Cardinals. And, interestingly enough, the father and son didn’t get to play against each other—so, I guess they weren’t able to spend game time together.
The father and son are both avid NFL fans, though. They keep up with all the news and the games—it’s remarkable. The father has been influential in his son’s career, and it shows. The son has mentioned how he looks to his dad for inspiration when it comes to his game and his career. It’s so wonderful to see—I wish every father and son relationship could be like that.
To me, it’s absolutely awesome that Michael Singletary has a son in the NFL. There’s so much he can teach him about the game and about life. It further intrigues me how the Singletary family celebrates each other’s accomplishments in the NFL. The father is proud of his son and the son is proud of his dad. This is an amazing dynamic to see in such an competitive and hectic game.
I think Michael Singletary’s son is in really great company, having such an inspiring and successful father in the NFL.It’s almost as if they have a connection very few other father-son pairs in the NFL have.They both gained a lot of insight and learned a lot from the game and each other that no one else could ever acquire.
