It is clear that the relationship between Jay-Z and the NFL is a complex one.​ Even though the musician does not currently own any part of the league, he still has a great deal of influence over it through his creative collaborations.​ It is, however, tough to imagine what the league would look like without its most famous fan on board.​

All in all, the relationship between Jay-Z and the NFL is one of mutual respect and admiration.​ Even though the hip hop mogul does not own any part of the league, he still has immense influence over it.​ He has used his business savvy to help the league reach a wider audience, it has given him countless opportunities to showcase his creativity.​ All of these activities suggest that the league and Jay-Z will remain close partners in the coming years.​
