Ahhh, football season! Anyone who is a fan of the NFL surely looks forward to this time of year. One of the great things about it, is that nowadays, you can enjoy a game even when you are thousands of feet up in the sky! I was flying on a United flight recently and was pleasantly surprised to learn that I could watch NFL games on the plane!
I was stoked and totally jazzed up! I hadn’t ever thought of watching football while flying, but as soon as I heard that I could, all I could think about was tuning in to the game on the plane. With my faith in the United Airlines’ entertainment system renewed, I quickly found the channel and settled in for the game.
As I watched the game, I was blown away by how well the coverage was. The picture was crystal clear and the audio was plenty loud enough. Even when the plane took off or during turbulence, I didn’t miss a thing! The only downside to watching the game on a plane was that there was no team commentary or color analysis. But hey, when you’re miles up in the air, it was still pretty cool to be able to catch the game.
Throughout the entire game, everyone on the plane was into it and yakking up a storm. We all screamed and cheered in unison, just like we were in the stadium. As someone who loves football, it was definitely an awesome experience. It felt like we were all sharing the joy of the game.
What’s even better is that United Airlines isn’t the only airline that offers NFL games. You can also watch on American Airlines, Delta, Alaska Airlines, and Southwest Airlines. You don’t really need to worry about missing too much of your favorite team’s action, no matter what airline you’re flying.
Now, if you’re an international traveler, or someone who loves watching games from abroad, it’s even better news. You can watch the NFL live on United flights that offer international live streaming. Even when you’re flying to another country, you can keep up with the action.
Truth be told, it’s hard not to get pumped up every time I hear the phrase “NFL on United.” With the wide variety of flights and channels, I never have to worry about missing any games anymore. No matter how high up in the air I’m traveling, the games are always with me. It’s definitely a cause to rejoice!
