The tackle currently plays for the Atlanta Falcons, and was drafted back in 2018. It’s safe to say that he towers over all the other players on the field – literally!
I have to admit, I was always a bit intimidated by Matt Gono’s size growing up. But after meeting him at a football camp, I can tell you he is the kindest, most humble giant off the field. He speaks softly and carries a huge personality and heart.

But he was later cut due to an injury he had sustained in college, and unfortunately never got to make an impact on the field.
But despite not seeing Sligh in action, it’s still quite remarkable to consider the size and potential of the tallest players in the NFL. I mean, can you even imagine a 6’9” player running across the field? It blows my mind just to think about it.
