tallest person in the nfl

So you wanna know about the tallest person in the NFL? Sure, why not?! It’s an interesting topic and one worth talking about.

The tallest person currently playing in the National Football League is none other than Matt Gono. He weighs in at a whopping 6’6”, and his height is still growing! The tackle currently plays for the Atlanta Falcons, and was drafted back in 2018. It’s safe to say that he towers over all the other players on the field – literally!

I have to admit, I was always a bit intimidated by Matt Gono’s size growing up. But after meeting him at a football camp, I can tell you he is the kindest, most humble giant off the field. He speaks softly and carries a huge personality and heart.

It’s quite amazing to watch Matt Gono on the field in action. His long arms and quick feet make him a force to be reckoned with. Add in the fact that he also has the skills and agility to think on his feet, and you know why he’s one of the tallest players in the NFL.

What’s more impressive is how agile and quick he is on the field. He can move around in a flash and outrun just about any other players. If his opponents don’t have the right plan to stop him, they’re going to have a hard time.

I’ve been lucky enough to watch Matt Gono play a few times, and I’m continuously in awe of his size and strength. He’s definitely a force to be reckoned with out there, and I wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of one of his tackles!

Of course, Gono isn’t the only tall player in the NFL. Joining him are 6’5” Sam Tevi, 6’7” Cam Robinson, and even 6’8” Mason Cole. Though Gono is currently the tallest, by just a few inches, there’s always a chance that could change.

It’s also worth mentioning that the tallest player in NFL history is actually 6’9” Richard Sligh. He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the 10th round of the 1967 NFL Draft. But he was later cut due to an injury he had sustained in college, and unfortunately never got to make an impact on the field.

But despite not seeing Sligh in action, it’s still quite remarkable to consider the size and potential of the tallest players in the NFL. I mean, can you even imagine a 6’9” player running across the field? It blows my mind just to think about it.

Well, there you have it – the tallest person currently in the NFL is none other than Matt Gono. Do you think he can last as the tallest, or will someone else overtake him soon? Only time will tell, so make sure to watch some NFL games and keep an eye out for Gono, Tevi, Robinson, and Cole.
