how many people go to nfl games

Wow, I absolutely love watching NFL games! I’m sure you can understand that. What really surprises me, though, is how many people usually go to the games in support of their favorite teams. It’s pretty incredible!

I remember the first NFL game I went to years ago. I was so excited to watch my beloved team play in person! I remember standing for most of the game, cheering and shouting for them. The atmosphere was electric! I felt so connected with all the other people there rooting for our team. It was an awesome experience.

The atmosphere is even better when it’s a rivalry game. The stands are filled with people draped in their teams’ colors, and the noise level during the game is insane! Even though some of the fans may not get along, it’s all in good fun. It’s an amazing display of passion.

Then there are the tailgates. Those are always a blast! I always love getting to enjoy some food, beverages and socializing before the game. It really hypes up the energy level before the game starts.

And of course there are the team-themed fan events. Some teams host live bands or tournaments, while others organize meet & greet with players and cheerleaders. There’s always something cool to do before the game starts.

But the real question is, how many people actually go to NFL games? According to a 2017 survey, an average of nearly 71,000 people attend a typical NFL game. That’s a lot of people in the stands! Considering how long it takes to get those crowds in and out of the stadium, it’s impressive that it all runs so smoothly.

I’ve been to quite a few NFL games now, and each time I’m amazed at how many people show up. No matter which teams are playing, I always love seeing how devoted fans are when it comes to supporting their favorite teams. I think that’s a huge part of what makes the NFL so special.
