As I’m sitting down scrolling through my news feed one of the things that catches my attention is the start of the 2022 NFL season. Even though it’s more than two years away, I’m already getting excited just thinking about it. We can all agree that the sense of anticipation just before the game starts is tangible, and I want to make sure that the beginning of the 2022 NFL season is as special as possible!
The first NFL game of 2022 is scheduled to take place on Thursday September 8th, so it’s still a while away for us to plan accordingly. I can already imagine all the tailgates that’ll be happening the day before, and the atmosphere that will fill up the stadium as the match approaches. Knowing that the first NFL game of the season is only around the corner makes me both nervous and eager, so I’ll definitely be tuning in!
The traditional opener of the season will be taking place in the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. There’s nothing like the feeling of watching a game with the amazing staff and fanbase of the different teams, and the Chiefs are one of a kind. I’ve been to their stadium before and the energy and enthusiasm of all the fans is absolutely contagious and inspiring. I can’t wait to see how the team performs this upcoming season and if they’ll be able to keep up their success of the past few years!
The first match of the season is usually accompanied with a sense of freshness and an eagerness to see how far each team has come since last season. Will the champions still perform at the same level? Will the underdogs surprise us? There’s nothing like the NFL and it doesn’t matter which groups of people you’re rooting for, it’s always sure to be an exciting, heart-throbbing match!
Pre-season of the NFL has always been a part of my life when I was growing up. I’ve seen a lot of teams over the years and I’ve watched players come and go. I can remember the first time I watched a game and how foreign it seemed to me but I was instantly hooked. Not only does the NFL matter for competition, it’s also a platform to keep people connected to each other and for generations to come it has become a part of our culture.
Not only is the game itself important, but the feeling of unity in every single arena and stadium before/after the game is just as special, if not more. When engaged in the NFL you almost forget about all the differences between you and strangers and become friends by cheering for the same team.
The official start of the 2022 NFL season is still two years away, but it’s never too early to start preparing. I can already feel the comfort and excitement of watching games together with friends, cheering for your favorite team and waiting to find out who will be the next champions! Thе ΝFL season is still a while away, and until then, football fans will have to get creative and keep their spirits high!
