Hey buddy, do you know if there are any NFL games on Thursday? I figured, since I’m a huge NFL fan, I would check online to find out what’s on the schedule. Let me tell you, the answer didn’t surprise me at all! As it turns out, there are several games on Thursday connected to the NFL.
Now, this doesn’t mean that Thursday Night Football is back! Some of the matchups are preseason games, and some are team-sponsored specials. It’s not the same as the regular Thursday night games you’d normally expect throughout the NFL season, but it’s still football and it’s still Thursday.
The NFL has sure been throwing some creative ideas our way with the way they’ve been scheduling games over the past few weeks. We’ve seen some games on Tuesdays and Thursdays before, but never anything like this. It’s a whole new playing field for the NFL, and I’m loving it.
It’s a great way to help kick off the NFL season, and I’m sure these games will be exciting for the diehard fans to watch. Even if they may feel a bit weird to watch without the presence of the usual Thursday night anthem, we still get to enjoy the spirit of football.
Plus, these games help break up the regular schedule and make us feel like we’re seeing something new and different. Whether it’s increased viewership or just a way to show off their skills, I can’t help but think that the league is trying to keep us engaged and entertained for as long as possible.
It’s also a great way for the teams to get some practice in and really sharpen their skills before the regular season begins. Preseason is a time for teams to develop, and Thursday night games help give them a chance to do just that.
The combination of Thursday night games and preseason practice gives the teams a chance to get to know each other and be in top shape before the regular season starts. That way, we can watch the best of the best put on their best show when they take the field.
Admittedly, it’s not quite the same suspense of waiting to see if Thursday night will be a regular season game, but it’s still something to look forward to. So, if you’re a football fan, you’ve got plenty of something to look forward to on Thursday nights over the next few weeks!
