nfl 2022 depth charts

Wow, so the NFL 2022 depth charts are out and, boy, am I excited! It’s almost like the first day of school, as teams anticipate the new season and prepare to defend their divisional crowns. Let me tell you what I think about the teams and who looks solid.

The Cowboys have an underrated group of rookies they picked up this year, including a wide receiver with some serious speed and a defensive back from SEC country. Even without Dak Prescott, they still have the potential to become a top tier team in the NFC.

The Patriots, of course, are stacked with talent like always. But man, they still need to address their weapons shortage at the receiver spot. Sure, they have Julian Edelman, but outside of that, they have a serious lack of depth which could be their undoing this year.

The Saints, on the other hand, have a solid group of impact players like QB Drew Brees, who is looking to take the team to the promise land one more time. Their defensive line is stacked with talent, which should make them a tough opponent in the NFC South.

The Rams have some serious potential, too. Jared Goff had an up and down year last year, but I think he has the makings of a franchise QB now that he’s got a group of talented receivers to throw to. Don’t be surprised if the Rams make some noise in the playoffs this year.

The Browns look primed for a deep playoff run. With a strong group of young players, they look to be the team to beat in the AFC North and could challenge the Patriots for the AFC crown. Led by Baker Mayfield, their offense appears to be their strongest weapon which could make them a real powerhouse.

The Niners are another interesting team to watch this year. Behind Jimmy Garoppolo, they’re looking to go further this year than they did last year. They added some fresh faces on both sides of the ball which could be just enough for the Niners to make a serious run for the Super Bowl.

Last but not least, the Ravens. With Lamar Jackson leading the way, they look to build on their success of a year ago and make a deep run in the playoffs. They’ve got some nice pieces in place and solid defense so they should be a tough out for anyone they face.

We’ll have to wait and see how things shake out, but I’m hopeful that this year will bring some excitement to the league. I’m looking forward to watching these teams battle it out for playoff supremacy. We’ll know for sure in a few months.
