what nfl games are playing on thanksgiving

As soon as the calendar hits the fall season, I know that it’s almost time for one of my favorite annual traditions: watching the NFL games on Thanksgiving! Every year, I look forward to pigging out on all the tasty Thanksgiving food while watching the games on one of the networks hosting the broadcasts. Sometimes our family has a potluck where we each bring a dish to share, so it turns into a real feast!

There’s always a lot of excitement in the air on Thanksgiving week, especially when it comes to the NFL matchups. This year we’re getting two incredible games, one in the afternoon and one in the evening. On Thanksgiving morning the Buffalo Bills will face off against the Dallas Cowboys, followed by a later game between the Washington Football Team and the Pittsburgh Steelers. This is one of those rare times when I’m excited for both games!

I have to admit that I’m a huge fan of the Cowboys, so the Buffalo Bills vs. Dallas Cowboys game is the one I’m looking forward to the most. Even though the Bills have been seriously hard to beat this year, I’m confident that the Cowboys will put up a good fight. Plus, the Cowboys are known for always playing their best on Thanksgiving, so I’m expecting some real fireworks.

When it comes to the Washington Football Team vs. Pittsburgh Steelers matchup, I’m really excited to see how the former fairs against the latter. The Steelers are a powerhouse in the NFL right now, so it’ll be interesting to see how the Washington Football Team can measure up. And who knows? Maybe the Washington Football Team can pull off an upset – that would be epic!

I always make sure to have friends over to celebrate Thanksgiving and enjoy the NFL games together. Watching the games with friends is a great way to celebrate in a small way with some distance between everyone. Everyone brings their own food to our potluck, so we get the full Thanksgiving experience while keeping everyone safe.

But, of course, there’s nothing like watching the games at the actual stadium. Luckily, there are still a few tickets available for the Cowboys vs. Bills game, but they’re sure to go fast. I know I’d love watching football from the nosebleeds at the stadium, but the safety of staying home is more important right now.

One of the things I love most about watching NFL games on Thanksgiving day is the long-standing traditions of the teams playing. The Cowboys and the Steelers have both playing each other on Thanksgiving for decades, so there’s definitely some nostalgia involved. It’s also fun to look back and see how far each team has come since their first matchups.

My favorite thing about the NFL games on Thanksgiving is we usually end up with incredible highlights. The best teams always come to play, and the energy always seems a bit higher on Thanksgiving. This year I’m sure we’ll see some amazing plays and big surprises.

I also like to challenge myself and predict the final scores of the games. Last year I had two pretty close predictions, but the Bills and the Steelers ended up taking the wins. I’m sure I’ll be wrong again this year, but it’s still a fun way to get in the spirit of the games.

Finally, I can’t wait to see the halftime performances. Every year, one of the biggest networks puts together a great lineup of performers to entertain the audience while the teams take a break. I’m looking forward to seeing who will grace the stage this year.

All in all, I can’t wait until it’s time for the NFL games on Thanksgiving Day. Even though we can’t be there to cheer on our teams in person, the games will still be as exciting as ever.

Maybe this year I’ll go all-in for one of the games and put a little money on the win? Who knows, it could be a good way to make Thanksgiving even more special this year!
