Ah, Ohio and football! You just can’t mention the two without one thought coming to mind. Does Ohio have two NFL teams? This is a question I get asked every time Ohio State plays in the Big Ten Championships. Of course, I have to jump into the conversation and answer with a resounding “Yes!”
Yes! Ohio is home to the Cleveland Browns and the Cincinnati Bengals. Over the years, both teams have experienced their share of success and losses. The Cleveland Browns have been one of the better teams in the NFL over the past few years, winning several division titles. The Cincinnati Bengals, on the other hand, have experienced some rocky years recently, but their fan base remains loyal and passionate.
My favorite Ohio NFL team is the Cleveland Browns. I grew up watching them and I still love watching them each Sunday. No matter how they’re doing, the energy and enthusiasm in the stadium is electric. It’s like watching a family come together to cheer on their beloved Browns.
It’s fun to chat with friends and family who are also big fans of the Browns. We come up with all sorts of chants, cheer slogans, and handshakes to honor our team. There’s just something special about celebrating with people who love the team just as much as you do.
As you can see, Ohio definitely does have two NFL teams. I’m a big fan of both the Cleveland Browns and the Cincinnati Bengals, so I’m always excited to talk about Ohio football. It’s a point of pride for us Ohioans to have such a deep connection with the NFL and knowing that our two teams represent the state quite well.
The die-hard fan base in both cities is so unique in itself. People live and die by their NFL team here in Ohio and I think that’s something pretty special. Taking that into account, you can really feel the camaraderie and the connection they have with their football team.
When I think about the two teams, it brings back a lot of great memories from my childhood. Every Sunday my brother and I were glued to the TV cheering on either the Browns or the Bengals. As I grew older, I still couldn’t help but stay tuned in for each and every game.
Even now, I still can’t wait to watch the games on Sunday. I’m always playing close attention to the standings – making sure to check up on not just the Browns and Bengals, but all of the teams in the NFL. My family will often get together and watch the games together, which makes it that much more enjoyable.
So when I’m asked if Ohio has two NFL teams, I can confidently answer with a resounding yes. Our state takes great pride in both the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cleveland Browns, and anyone living in the region knows just how passionate and dedicated Ohioans are when it comes to football.
Though I’m a huge fan of both teams, I have to say that the Browns are definitely my favorite. That being said, I’m always looking forward to the next season and hoping for great success from both the Bengals and the Browns. It would be an incredible feeling for the Buckeyes of Ohio to finally lift a trophy!
