Luke Kuechly, for example, has only been the tackle leader twice (2012 and 2014 seasons) so far, and he’s gone on record saying he’s hungry for another championship. It’s hard to count Kuechly out – he’s a seasoned professional and a leader on the field.

And let’s not forget Bobby Wagner, who has been named NFL tackle leader twice in his career (in 2015 and 2016), and he’s still considered one of the best linebackers in the game today. While it’s easy to look at the age factor and rule Wagner out, there’s no denying the fact that age is just a number when it comes to this game!
