I’m from Tennessee, and when it comes to the NFL, there’s only one team that counts: the Titans. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been a diehard fan of the Titans. From the good days, to the bad, to the highs and the lows, I’ve been there through it all.
When I think about Tennessee Football, the first thing that pops in my head is the “Titans in Nashville” chant. What a beautiful sight that is! When thousands of fans fill Nissan Stadium, the energy is electrifying. Let me tell you, there is nothing better than watching the Titans battle it out on the field.
The Titans have been no strangers to football success. In 1999, they made their first Super Bowl, unfortunately losing to the Rams. Then in 2002, they nearly made it back to the Promised Land, but lost to the Raiders. My heart was broken. Even still, I was and remain a loyal fan, never waivering in my fandom even in the tough moments.
The first time I was lucky enough to see the Titans play in person was back in 2001, when they were world champions. It was an incredible moment and one I will never forget. We had box seats, so we were right at the 50-yard line! It definitely helped amplify the excitement to be that close to the action.
Of course, I love to talk about all the Titans Superstars. Eddie George, Steve McNair, Marcus Mariota, and Derrick Henry! These names will bring a smile to any Real Titan’s fans face. I still remember watching my first NFL game with Steve McNair throwing to a young, upstart receiver by the name of Derrick Mason. Nothing will ever top that.
My experience with the Tennessee Titans has been an incredible ride, and even though I’m not sure what’s in store for the Titans in the future, one thing’s for sure: I’m here to ride the wave until the final whistle and beyond!
It’s definitely hard to be from Tennessee and not have the Titans as your favorite team. The culture of the Tennessee Titans is unlike any other. We take a lot of pride in our team and their accomplishments. We wear the navy and white with honor and love the unique colors and emblem of our team.
Speaking of the emblem, have you seen the new logo? It looks awesome! I think it’s definitely a great representation of what the Tennessee Titans mean to us diehard fans.
I could talk about the Titans all day long. From the exceptional athletes, to legendary coaches, and even the beloved tailgating tradition. It’s a part of our culture in Tennessee and I wouldn’t want it any other way.
Every week when we watch the Titans, it’s like a family reunion. We reunite at a friends house or a local bar, decked out in Titans gear, chugging beers and singing the fight song. It’s the moments like these that help to make Tennessee football so special.
We are incredibly thankful for the past Titan players and coaches, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds. I have no doubt that this team will continue to bring us moments of greatness and glory. Let’s Go Titans, no matter what!
