Going to a football field in the U. S. is an incredible experience, and I recently had the chance to experience it first hand. Not only did I see many of the top American players in action, I was also taken aback by the presence of Asian players. As a long time fan of the National Football League (NFL) I have to admit that I didn’t expect to see many Asians playing professionally. However, as I looked around the stadium I was taken aback by the sheer number of Asian players that I saw!
While many people might think that Asian players are few and far between in the NFL, that’s actually not the case. In fact, according to recent data from the NFL, there were 132 Asians playing in the league during the 2018 season. That’s a huge number when you consider how tough it is to make it as a professional athlete in the U. S. To put it another way, that’s about 3% of the entire NFL!
This was an eye-opening experience for me, and it made me realize how important it is for Asian players to have the opportunity to participate in the NFL. Not only does it open doors for them in the sports world but it also helps to create an atmosphere of multiculturalism and inclusivity in American football.
When I look at the 132 Asians who were listed in the NFL during 2018 I am filled with admiration. To become an NFL player requires an incredible level of dedication and commitment. Asian players in the NFL have had to work hard to make it to the top and while they have faced a lot of resistance they have also inspired many fans.
I think it’s important to give recognition to the Asian players in the NFL. Playing in the NFL is an incredible accomplishment no matter what ethnicity a player is and I think it’s really cool that Asians are playing a part in making the NFL what it is today. These players have earned their place in the league and I look forward to seeing more Asian players join the NFL in the future.
When I think about how many Asian players have made it to the NFL I can’t help but feel a sense of pride. It’s inspiring to see how hard they’ve worked to get where they are today and it’s proof that anything is possible. If these players can make it to the NFL despite facing obstacles then anyone can achieve their dreams.
The presence of Asian players in the NFL is a great example of progress and diversity in American football. It’s a reminder that the NFL is not restricted to any particular race. The diversity of the NFL is what makes it great and I think the Asian players have a lot to do with that.
The success of Asian players in the NFL should also be seen as an example of how far we’ve come as a society. Throughout history, Asian immigrants have faced a lot of discrimination in the United States and it’s heartwarming to see the progress we’ve made in recent years. We’ve come a long way and it’s thanks in part to the success of Asian players in the NFL.
I think it’s important to recognize the incredible number of Asian players in the NFL and the fact that they have achieved so much in the face of adversity. They have overcome long odds and made it to the biggest stage in American football. To me, these players are a source of celebration and inspiration.
