It’s been a while since the NFL announced that they were continuing their international games in 2022. Cue the excitement! As a passionate NFL fan that already had a summer travel plan in mind, I just couldn’t turn down the opportunity to experience an international NFL game. My hope for a globetrotting adventure and my love for NFL was all the motivation I needed. I was beyond excited for the potential of being able to experience the game of football in an entirely new setting, with an entirely new culture.

The current plan is for four games that will be held at various sites around the world. Mexico, Canada, Europe, and even Asia could potentially host games in the next few years. Even though nothing has been officially determined, there is still buzz about the possible locations and potential destinations. Even the thought of games being played in exotic and exciting ways around the world is mind-boggling! It’s truly a game-changer for NFL fans who live and breathe football.

I had the thought of being able to experience the game from a local perspective, even though it is based in the United States. Additionally, I was dreaming of a unique game day experience that I’m sure consists of intense rivalries and a unique team atmosphere. It would definitely add an entirely new level of intensity and atmosphere to the games as well.

The 2022 international games could also open up incredible opportunities for fans to travel, and potentially experience unique and exciting cultures for NFL fans from around the world. Traveling to another country and being able to experience the local culture and meet fellow NFL fans would be a dream come true.

The possibilities are truly endless. It could be the perfect way to bring new excitement to the sport of football. To be able to experience a reliable national game taking place on an international scale would undoubtedly be a tremendous and unforgettable experience. Some other potential outcomes I’m looking forward to is getting a chance to attend a game in international stadiums, which might even differ in design and structure from stadiums in the U.S.

Although it’s still a ways away, I’m already starting to plan for the international games next year. I’m quite curious about the teams and locations that the NFL will choose and am hoping that tickets won’t be too expensive! Furthermore, I’m looking to stay close to the action with the latest news and updates as the season draws closer.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the NFL will choose some exciting locations in 2022 and beyond. I can only imagine the buzz that will surround the games if they choose a location within Europe or Asia, as both are known to be passionate fan bases. I just know that they’ll be some great, unforgettable experiences coming my way.

how much do nfl teams make from tv

It’s amazing how much money NFL teams make from TV deals. It’s almost unimaginable how much a team can pocket from it! I mean, the sale of these rights can really establish a team’s financial stability.

When the Green Bay Packers sold the rights to its preseason games to WLUK-TV in 2019, the team made $34 million. That’s a lot of cash! And that doesn’t include the millions the Packers make from broadcast television when NFL games secured their own deal with the media outlets. The team also secured a two-year extension with WLUK in 2020, so that number is likely to grow.

But the Packers aren’t the only team making big money off of TV deals. The Pittsburgh Steelers recently signed a deal with Sinclair Broadcast Group, worth around $50 million – which was one of the longest deals of its kind in the NFL, lasting eight seasons. That’s almost double what the Packers made!

The New York Giants also recently signed a six-year deal with WNBC worth over $140 million! That’s massive! And the Los Angeles Rams are currently leading the pack with the biggest TV deal in the league, signing a ten year, $1.91 billion agreement with CBS Sports in 2019.

It’s mind-blowing how much money these teams are making form the TV deals! I mean, it helps stabilize their teams financially and brings in more money so they can invest in better players, facilities, and other possible investments.

What’s more, this money also helps create thousands of jobs both on the TV and the team side. With the money, these teams are able to create better experiences for the fans and make sure the players are taken care of.

It’s no secret that TV deals are a great source of revenue for many of these teams. The NFL has seen a consistent rise in ratings in recent years, meaning more money from TV networks, and higher salaries for the players.

The truth is that people love watching football on TV,It’s a great opportunity for the teams to get more out of their TV deals as they continue to grow, as well as to increase the marketability of their team. All of this translates into more money for the NFL and the teams.

The league’s most recent six-year TV deal, from 2021-2023, is worth an estimated $1.70 billion per season. This agreement saw the major players in broadcasting – Fox, NBC, CBS, AppleTV and ESPN – all make significant contributions to secure rights for exclusive games.

It’s incredible to think about how popular football is, and how it can bring in so much money for teams. The Next time you switch on your TV to catch a game, remember there’s likely a lot of money going to the team on the field!
