A few days ago I was watching an old NFL game when I noticed something strange – two players wearing jerseys that weren’t familiar to me. I slowly realized it was Charlie Davis and Keith Burkhardt. I hadn’t heard of them before! But have they played in the NFL?
Well, the answer to that question is yes. Both of these players have in fact played in the NFL. Bear in mind though, that both of them retired a few years ago, so it’s only natural that I hadn’t heard of them sooner. Keith Burkhardt also made it to the Pro Bowl once and was selected to the All-Pro team twice. It was a truly remarkable performance from both of them. I can only imagine what it must’ve been like to play in a Super Bowl and become champions of the entire league.
