I’m buzzing about the CBS NFL Draft! It’s so exciting to see some of the greatest players in college football being given the chance to pursue their dreams on the professional level. Most of these players worked so hard and spent countless hours training, studying, and playing just to make it to this point. It’s truly inspiring to watch and it’s awesome to see these athletes get their dreams within grasp.
I remember the first CBS NFL Draft I watched when I was a kid. It was so thrilling to watch as Commissioner Roger Goodell announced the names of the players that would be taken by each team. Even at the time, I could tell just how momentous the occasion was and the impact it would have on the players.
It’s not just the drafted that I’m so excited about. I’m also thrilled to witness the trades that will inevitably be made on draft night. Some of the players that would have gone unnoticed otherwise are taken by teams in need of help at certain positions, or the teams are simply looking for a change of pace as well as a new style of play. No matter the reasons, it’s always thrilling to see how the draft will shake out once all the cards are on the table.
I’m especially excited about the assets that teams obtain in trades. Similar to a kid in a candy shop, I love to see the players change hands and the packages they receive in return for their services. It’s a game of chess, and I’m always anticipating what the next move will be.
This year, I’m eagerly looking forward to the CBS NFL draft and seeing which teams will draw the cards to make their NFL teams the best on the league. I think I’m most anticipating watching which players from the college season are going to rise to the occasion and become a game changer on the professional level. It’s going to be interesting to watch how these teams use the draft day to improve their rosters and who will come away the winner.

It’s always intruiging to me to witness the process in action as all 32 teams prepare their draft tactics. It’s a complex and fascinating strategy that often varies from the consensus. Knowing what each team’s needs are, and how they will go about filling those needs is an often intense process that carries a lot of weight.
As an armchair expert, I always love getting together with friends to break down each team’s approach and try to predict who might go where. It’s really exciting to get up to date on the player’s talents, their college performance and combine measurables. Sometimes, it feels almost like having a sport in itself with all the analysing and debating going on.
It’s also fun to watch the reactions of the players. It’s usually a mixture of joy, amazement, and relief as they hear their name called out. It’s a special moment, and it’s undoubtably rewarding to witness the players realizing that all the hard work and dedication that got them to this point, has now payed off with a chance to make it big in the world of professional football.
It’s also inspiring to see the reactions of the fans. They have a huge influence on the draft and many of the decisions that teams make. It’s almost as if I’m part of the game and it’s impossible to not get caught up in the excitement.
This year, I’m so looking forward to the CBS NFL Draft. I just know that it’s going to be filled with surprises, heart-stopping maneuvers and great plays. I’m confident that the talent picked this year is going to have a big impact on the league and teams will make trades and signings that will make this draft one to remember.
