It’s been quite some time since Ohio State football star JT Barrett graduated and left the college team behind. Everyone knew he was going to make it into the NFL Draft – the question was, who was going to pick him up? I admit that I was a bit anxious to find out where he’d end up.
Whenever I heard his name mentioned I’d get a rush of excited anticipation and wonder if he might soon be playing professionally. After all, he’d been a standout QB for the Ohio State University Buckeyes and always seemed to be making plays no one else could.
I wasn’t the only one thrilled to hear the news when it was finally announced that the New Orleans Saints had drafted JT Barrett. The Saints’ management was obviously convinced of his potential and wanted to give him a shot.
Everyone around me was celebrating the news and feeling immensely proud of him for taking a chance and showing the NFL scouts what he can do. The hope and enthusiasm was palpable, and I could feel it radiating from the fans.

Now I follow him on social media where I get regular updates about his progress and am always amazed at how driven and passionate he is about football. His training schedule and the hard work he puts in to hone his skills always amazes me. He also continues to be a great leader and role model for aspiring players.
A lot of the fans are in awe of the way that JT was able to leverage his talents and hard work to go from college to the pros. His story is inspiring and it has given hope to a lot of younger players that there is a path to a successful professional career.

He has to pay a lot of attention and be willing to push his limits in order to stay on top of his game and maintain the competitive edge he needs to be successful.
Finding ways to stay motivated, inspired and focused is a never ending chore and JT puts in the extra effort to adjust and remain fit. Today, JT is working harder than ever, from the weight room to virtual fitness classes to keep his body in peak condition so he can compete with the best of the best.
It’s truly incredible to watch him excel and take on each challenge as it comes. His commitment and dedication are a testament to his character and resilience.
