I recently heard that the actor Terry Crews used to have a stellar career in the NFL.​ I had to do some research to figure out if this was true.​ It turns out that Terry Crews did play in the NFL from 1991-1997.​ I was so impressed and amazed when I heard this, and I couldn’t believe that he was even successful in the NFL.​

My first thought was, “Wow, he must have had to work really hard to make it to the pros!” In my head I imagined Terry’s struggles and accomplishments as a professional football star.​ What really surprised me was that he had an awesome career in the NFL and he isn’t even known as an ex-football player!

At first, I found it strange that he too hadn’t found fame with his NFL career, especially since he was no slouch.​ From what I understand, he had been a line-backer for the Philadelphia Eagles and San Diego Chargers.​ He also played for the Las Vegas Posse in the CFL for one season before concluding his professional football career in 1997.​

Given his background, I’m tempted to say that Terry Crews was born for success and I truly admire what he’s been able to achieve.​ I feel that he demonstrates determination and resilience, which is something that I strive to follow everyday.​ It’s humbling to think that someone can balance between multiple career paths and still be successful in each one.​

Terry Crews is a testament to the value of having a great work ethic and focusing on what you really want to achieve in life.​ He may have retired from the NFL, but his story doesn’t end there.​ He’s gone on to have a successful acting career with roles in sitcoms like Brooklyn Nnine-Nine and films like The Expendables – what an impressive comeback!

Terry Crews is also an amazing advocate for other individuals in Hollywood and beyond, using his platform to raise awareness of issues like racism, sexism and gender equality.​ I’ve heard about how he speaks up against Hollywood’s gender pay gap and I’m really inspired as I too fight for gender equality in the workplace.​

Not only did Terry Crews have an incredible NFL career, he has inspired many to never give up and keep hustling towards their own success.​ His career in the NFL serves as an example for working hard and pushing through.​ Who knows what other incredible successes he will gain in the future? It’s exciting to watch what he’ll do next.​

Sundays are my favorite day, in the fall especially.​ On Sundays, I get to relax, kick back, and watch some NFL Football like a champion.​ Sunday games always seem to be the most fun for me because I get to watch my favorite teams compete with each other.​

I love the passion and excitement that comes with watching an NFL football games.​ I have a few friends that prefer to watch on their own, but I like to get together with the guys and watch the games in my house.​ It is always so entertaining hearing who they are choosing to root for and seeing how passionate they get when it’s crunch time.​

It’s one of the few times all season where the atmosphere of the house can be electric with every player’s play.​ The cheering, heartache, and banter all makes Sundays so unique.​ Even when my team is playing against my friends’ teams, we still have an amazing time.​ Everyone openly supports one another, we get together to enjoy the food that everyone brings, and we just have a blast.​

As we watch the games, we often find ourselves making predictions and analyzing every play, making the games so much more fun than just watching.​ Even if someone isn’t a huge football fan, we can all come together to have a great time.​ I often find myself seeing the funny side of the game, regardless of the outcome.​

The best part of Sundays is the camaraderie, though.​ It’s great to see everyone come together to socialize and share mutual interests.​ We often end up talking about more than just the game and it’s such a great way to connect with people and create meaningful relationships.​ It’s also an automatic reminder of why so many of us watch football and what a great sport it can be.​

Wow, the NFL playoffs are here again! The atmosphere is so electric and I’m always so excited to see who comes out on top.​ It feels like the whole world gets caught up in this event, especially when a big rivalry game is taking place or when there’s a Cinderella story on the way to the Super Bowl.​

It’s always a blast to witness the sheer power of these athletes as they go head to head in the playoffs.​ You can feel the tension in the air, and the coaches never fail to put on a show as they match strategize against each other.​ Surprisingly, although the games can sometimes be one-sided, you can never be sure who’ll be victorious until the final whistle blows.​

It is often said that anything can happen in NFL playoff games, and I’ve certainly seen some upsets occur in this time of year.​ It is a magical moment when a lesser-known team takes down a powerhouse, as the underdog can pull off the winning play in the final seconds.​ It is crazy to think that some teams that nobody expected to do anything have gone all the way and won the Super Bowl!

I love to observe the little things that can occur that can too often be overlooked by casual viewers.​ Although the TV cameras are focused on the highlight reel plays, I tend to take note of the key blocks, subtle interceptions, and amazing catches that can determine whether a team is triumphant or not.​

Additionally, I find it remarkable how teams can rally to escape do-or-die situations.​ Before a team knows it they can go from being down double-digits to coming back in the fourth quarter and taking home the W.​ It is in those moments when you can feel the momentum shifting and see the will of the players to overcome all the odds.​

When the playoffs have whittled down the teams to the final four, it brings out an element of national pride as every fan out there is hoping their team will be the ones hoisting up the Vince Lombardi trophy at the end.​ It really is an incredible feeling when your team goes all the way to the top and it is something that I’m always holding out for.​

It is always a treat to watch the NF playoffs, and I eagerly await to see who will be the last team standing.​

The games before the Super Bowl are just as exciting because you get to observe what a championship-level team is made of and it can be quite inspiring.​ All of the playoff teams tend to show more resilience than before, and it’s great to see how coaches come up with new ways to beat their opponents.​

The great playoff games don’t just come down to which team has the most talent, but who can make adjustments and dial up the proper plays to win.​ It is marksmanship and improvisation that can give a team the advantage and I always love to see what strategies are employed.​

No one knows who is going to come out on top in the end, but the battle of wits and skill is always incredible to watch.​ It always amazes me how talented these players are despite how quickly their careers can end, and I wish them luck in whatever situation they are put in.​

The wild card games impact the rest of the playoff run, and these are often the most unpredictable matches in the NFL.​ These lineups are always worth checking out as you get to experience some of the lesser-known teams up close and it can be quite the experience.​

The playoff matchups provide plenty of interesting talking points, and I can’t help but get into the excitement.​ The games during this time are some of the most exciting in the entire season, and the idea of crowning a new champion keeps me coming back for more.​

Every year the drama keeps unfolding, and it always brings a bit of mystery, intrigue, and anticipation with it.​ I can’t help but to get involved in selecting my fantasy team for the playoffs and I love seeing who’ll come out on top.​

How is this possible? Well, first off, the NBA has a much wider audience outside of the United States than the NFL does.​ International fans buy merchandise, watch games online, and even attend international games, which, when compared to the NFL’s international fan base, is exponentially larger.​ Also, NFL games require the purchase of a TV package, while NBA fans can easily watch the games on League Pass.​ This makes the NBA more accessible and helps the league increase revenue.​

Beyond that, the NBA is making amazing strides in the tech department.​ They’ve developed virtual reality games, plus the NBA’s cutting-edge app, which allows fans to watch games from anywhere.​ This type of technology is expensive, but it has paid off for the NBA.​ It’s estimated that the NBA revenue has grown an incredible 50 percent over the past five years.​

So, while it seem like the NFL is the one to watch when it comes to the mega buck leagues, the NBA actually makes more money.​ I mean, can you even imagine a world where basketball out-earned football? Crazy! On the other hand, with the NFL bringing in over $2 Billion in advertising revenue, it’s definitely picking up the slack.​

Speaking of ad revenue, despite the fact that the NBA makes more money, the NFL still has more open TV slots, which gives them the edge when it comes to ad revenue.​ Additionally, the league is full of iconic franchises such as the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers, which have huge brand recognition.​

It’s clear that both the NFL and NBA have plenty of business strategies in place to keep themselves in the green.​ It’s definitely a close one, but with the global advantage and technological advancement of the NBA, it looks like basketball fans can call this one!

I used to be a loyal NFL fan.​ Every game I was glued to the TV, always counting down the minutes till kickoff.​ Then one day my enthusiasm for the NFL fizzled out when the app wouldn’t let me watch the games I had already paid money for.​ I realized I needed to get rid of that app, but I had no idea where to start.​

First thing I did was search up the question on the internet, scouring forums and blogs for advice.​ I figured out that I needed to first remove the NFL app from the home screen first.​ However, I was still confused on how to do that since my phone had an Android operating system.​

I didn’t know anyone who had an Android that I could ask, so instead I had to reach out to customer service and ask them how to take the NFL app off my phone.​ I nervously dialed the number on the back of my phone and asked the representative how to delete the NFL app from my home screen.​

It turns out I was overthinking it and that it was quite easy to do.​ The customer service rep talked me through it step by step.​ Essentially, it was a matter of holding down the app icon and dragging it to the “trash”.​ After just a few clicks, the NFL app was off of my phone.​

I let out a sigh of relief, thankful for the customer service rep that was able to help me out.​ I was smart to look for assistance instead of trying to figure it out on my own.​ I slowly leaned more and more towards technology and was determined to figure out how to delete the app from my phone, and I’m glad I wasn’t trying to do this on my own.​

I also decided to delete the app from the app store, so it wouldn’t accidentally reappear on my phone without my knowledge.​ Since the app store also runs on Android, this was an easy process and I only had to find the app in the store, click the three dots icon and select “uninstall”.​

Once I was finished with that, I felt like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders.​ I can now rest assured that I won’t be seeing any updates from the NFL again unless I decide to reinstall the app.​

That wasn’t the end of my struggles with technology, however.​ I still needed to be able to watch games online, so I had to figure out how to do that.​ I began researching ways to watch without an app, which lead me to researching streaming services.​

I then came across streaming services that let me watch games online, without having to download any extra software or apps.​ This was great news for me, because it allowed me to watch the games I wanted while handling all the tech stuff on the backend.​ No more having to download apps or search for different providers.​

I was beginning to make progress in understanding technology and how to use it to watch the NFL games.​ I looked into multiple streaming services, which ones were more reliable, and which ones had better servers.​ I even considered the discounts different streaming services offered.​

In the end, I went with the one I researched the most, and I couldn’t be happier.​ Now I no longer have to worry about apps being stuck to my phone, and I can watch the NFL games from wherever I want, on whatever device I want.​ Technology has become my friend, and I’m glad I was able to figure it all out.​

when is the nfl honors

Wow, so when is the NFL Honors? Well, I was just thinking about it the other day and I’m so excited for it.​ I’m sure it’s coming up soon and I cannot wait! I mean, we get to celebrate the best players and teams in the NFL and that’s pretty awesome!

For those of you not familiar, the NFL Honors is the annual award ceremony held the night before the Super Bowl.​ It’s a really big deal – there’s usually an awesome performance of some kind, amazing presenters, and the celebration just brings the entire sport together in one night.​ It’s always so much fun and you can just feel the energy when you’re watching the awards.​

Every year, we get to find out which players have won MVP, Rookie of the Year, Coach of the Year, and so many more awards.​ We also find out who will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame each year.​ I am always so curious to know who the inductees are and it’s always so exciting finding out who made it.​

I know for sure this year’s NFL Honors will be no different.​ I am so excited to see who will receive awards and get inducted into the Hall of Fame.​ Being part of the experience is just amazing and I’m so looking forward to watching the ceremony.​ It will surely be a night to remember!

Now, beyond just who is getting what awards and getting inducted, we also get to know who the nominees are for each category.​ There are usually plenty of nominations and it’s almost like that’s the best part – the anticipation of who the winners will be.​ Seeing which players have made it to the list of nominees and then ultimately knowing which player or team takes the honors is such an amazing experience.​

I also love that we get to learn about the players that don’t win, too.​ They are all so talented and it’s nice to recognize them all and know how hard they work every year.​ It’s such an honor to be nominated for the NFL Honors and it’s great to celebrate everyone in the league.​

Next four sections

So, when can we expect the NFL Honors? Well, the date is usually announced sometime in January or February.​ Last year, the NFL Honors was held on February 6th and was televised on CBS.​ It’s one of the most anticipated events leading up to the Super Bowl and it’s something I look forward to every year.​

In anticipation of the NFL Honors, I always make sure to check out team records and individual stats to get an idea of who may be winning awards.​ It’s so fun to guess who the winners will be and it’s always exciting when I get it right! I also keep an eye out for any news that might give us a clue as to who the new Hall of Fame inductees are – it’s like an exciting puzzle and I love watching the pieces come together!

Speaking of the Hall of Fame, I can’t help but get emotional when the inductees are announced.​ It’s such an honor to be inducted into the Hall of Fame and I always get a little choked up when it happens.​ Seeing the inductees and knowing how much they’ve accomplished is just so inspiring and it’s one of my favorite parts of the awards ceremony.​

I was so sad to miss out on the NFL Honors last year, but apparently, it was a great one.​ From what I heard, the ceremony had some amazing performances and presenters, and I can’t wait to see what we can expect this year.​ I have a feeling it won’t disappoint!

Now, over the years, there has also been some amazing speeches given at the awards night.​ I always look forward to some entertaining words from the MVP, Rookie of the Year, and Hall of Fame inductees.​ It’s always so inspiring to hear how these players are humble and grateful for the recognition, but also how they use their platform to share their own message.​

So, when is the NFL Honors? As always, I’m counting down the days until we find out! Until then, I will keep my eyes peeled for any news or rumors that could point to who the potential nominees are.​ I can’t wait to see which players are honored for their hard work this season!

Every year, I find myself glued to the television on the day of the NFL Honors ceremony.​ From the excitement of finding out who the winners are to the inspiring speeches – every second is worth it! Plus, it’s one of the few chances we get to see the whole league come together and pay tribute to the biggest stars of the season.​ It’s truly a special night!

And, of course, the night wouldn’t be complete without the after-parties.​ After the awards, everyone sticks around and throws an epic celebration honoring the recipients and nominees of the awards.​ There’s usually plenty of food, drinks, music, and of course, a lot of fun! It’s a great way to end the night and I always look forward to it.​

So, again, when is the NFL Honors? I don’t know for sure yet, but from the looks of it, we’ll find out soon enough! All I know is that I for one am very excited and can’t wait to tune in and celebrate the amazing players and teams of this year’s NFL season!

It’s amazing how many talented NFL quarterbacks are around for an incredibly long time! It’s truly astounding how well they can keep playing even when they get to their late thirties and forties.​ I’ve got to hand it to those QBs who really show us their ageless energy and prowess on the field – it’s stunning!

Take Tom Brady for example.​ He’s 41 years old and still going strong.​ All these years, Tom carries the New England Patriots with ease and always finds a way to come out on top.​ It’s hard to think this guy’s been playing in the NFL for almost two decades!

41? That’s a whole lot of life that he has spent in the NFL and he’s still going strong.​ Another famous guy, Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers, is 36 years old.​ These guys are living examples of how age really isn’t a number at all in the NFL.​

It’s all about the heart and mind of the players.​ Even when they hit their forties, these professionals continue to perform like it’s their first time on the field, and we can’t help but admire that.​ That’s the kind of determination and hard work that goes into playing in the big leagues, and I’d say, it’s really paying off.​

Then we come to the likes of 25 year old Marcus Mariota as NFL quarterback of the Tennessee Titans.​ At such a young age, he’s already made a mark in the league by successfully making it to the postseason.​ That’s got to be some sort of record!

Every quarterback has put in a unique amount of dedication and performance, no matter how old they are.​ It’s really a testament to their commitment and mentality that keeps them going.​ That’s why age doesn’t stop an NFL quarterback from hitting the field with intensity and pushing through whatever obstacle comes their way.​

It’s incredible that many NFL quarterbacks can just keep pushing even when their bodies try to slow them down.​ They really have to have the determination, as well as be in the perfect mental state, to be able to go beyond what their age says about them.​That in itself is remarkable achievement.​

It’s a real Blessing to keep the same energy and passion even when we grow older.​ Hats off to the QBs who have managed to make it look like they’re still in their prime! These men show us what persistence in pursuing our dream really looks like, and this is truly inspiring.​

The NFL makes sure that all the quarterbacks have a platform to prove their ability, no matter their age.​ The success stories of the current batch of quarterbacks prove that no age is too old to go all out and exceed expectations.​ That’s the real spirit of sportsmanship!

One thing’s for sure, age does not define the skill and performance of an NFL quarterback and shouldn’t be seen as a limitation.​ It’s their level of commitment and never-say-die attitude, even in their older years that really sets them apart from the crowd.​

Whenever I hear the term “Salute to Service” in relation to the NFL, I’m always proud to think of all the ways in which our military is supported by those who love sport.​ Not only do NFL teams recognize veterans on game day, they are also involved in projects and activities which provide opportunities for veterans to feel part of the nation.​ It’s an incredible expression of respect and appreciation for the service of our military.​

At every game I attend, the national anthem is always solemnly played and we usually stand in silence, paying respect to our country and all it represents.​ It’s a powerful reminder of why we love our great nation and the sacrifices made for it.​ What follows after the anthem is a special “Salute to Service” period, where a group of Veterans or current servicemen and women accompany the team onto the field to be honored.​ This is always a moment of great pride and emotion as we get to hear the stories of some of the brave military personnel in attendance.​

One particular time that stands out in my mind relates to a trip I took to an NFL game and how I was moved by the “Salute to Service” ceremony there.​ As I looked around, I noticed a group of Soldiers in full uniform, and could see how serious they were in the execution of their duties.​ They too, were standing in honor of the flag.​ As the teams were lined up at the midfield mark, the crowd rose to observe the “Salute to Service” ceremony.​ The Veterans and soldiers proudly stood to attention and the large Flag of the United States was brought onto the field and hoisted into the air for all to see.​ It was truly a breathtaking sight to behold and I will never forget the feelings of patriotism that I had that afternoon.​

It almost seemed as if all of us in the stadium had become one, united in honoring and respecting those who choose to put their lives on the line so that the rest of us can live in freedom.​ I can only imagine what it must feel like from the soldiers point of view, seeing such a display of national pride and support.​ That ‘Salute to Service’ is an event that sticks with me to this day, and whenever I go to another game, I’m always proud to join in the standing ovation for our troops.​ It’s moments like this that make me feel connected with my country and why I love the NFL.​

The ‘Salute to Service’ program is also about providing support in the community for military personnel and their families.​ The NFL works with numerous non-profit organizations to offer support to these Veterans, such as providing housing and educational benefits.​ On top of this, they organize events for families and friends of military personnel to come together and celebrate their service and courage.​ It’s these types of activities that show how much the NFL values the work of our military personnel and gives back to the people who risk their lives for our safety.​

It’s inspiring to me to witness an event which allows us to all come together to remember, honor and thank the courageous heroes who have served our country.​ The ‘Salute to Service’ events are an important reminder that we need to take a moment to appreciate all the sacrifices made by those who have served and continue to serve their country.​ I feel deeply appreciative for these men and women, and am proud to honor them through the NFL’s ‘Salute to Service’ project.​

2017 nfl draft results

I was so excited for the 2017 NFL Draft! I’ve been an avid lover of American football since I was kid, so I always looked forward to this time of year.​ It’s just so fun anticipating which teams will be drafting which players.​ You never know who is going to make it and who is going make a huge splash in the league.​

The 2017 NFL Draft certainly had some big surprises.​ To start, the first pick went to the Cleveland Browns and they selected Myles Garrett from Texas A&M.​ Now I was definitely expecting this guy to go in the first round but I had no idea he was going to be the first overall pick.​ Man, what a confidence boost for him and a huge surprise for everyone else.​

The next surprise of the 2017 NFL Draft was when the Bears selected Mitchell Trubisky from North Carolina with the second pick.​ Back in high school, he had accepted a full football scholarship to Ohio State, but he later transferred to North Carolina.​ So, it was a bit of a shock to see him go that early in the draft.​

The big shocker of the draft came with the thirteenth pick when the Arizona Cardinals selected Haason Reddick from Temple University.​ He was a complete underdog in the pre-draft evaluation process and yet, he made his way to the thirteenth pick.​ Reddick was so overcome with emotion that he broke down into tears when he heard his name called.​

The last surprise came with the thirty-first pick when the Atlanta Falcons selected Takkarist McKinley from UCLA.​ I’m a big UCLA fan so I’m admittedly biased but, I felt like McKinley was underrated and deserved more recognition than he received.​ Now he’s a Falcon and will have plenty of chances to show the NFL what he can do.​

It was an amazing night of surprises at the 2017 NFL Draft.​ I’m sure that these players, and their teams, are excited for the season ahead.​ I personally can’t wait to see how these young men fare in the big leagues.​ Now the waiting starts but, the anticipation keeps rising.​

Now let’s talk about the impact these young draftees will have on the upcoming season.​ Before the draft, all of these draftees were seen as unknowns, but now they will have the opportunity to make their mark on the NFL.​ Myles Garrett may have been the first player selected but, all of these draftees will be the ones making the biggest difference on the field.​

Many of the draftees will be expected to make an immediate impact on their teams and in the league.​ Garrett, for example, is expected to help the Browns defense out immensely.​ Mitchell Trubisky might be the long-term solution for the Bears as they are in desperate need of a franchise quarterback.​ Haason Reddick and Takkarist McKinley both bring unique skill sets to the table and will help the Cardinals and Falcons respectively.​

It’s a tall order for these rookies to make an immediate impact on the season but, if they are able to do so, they will be forever remembered in the annals of NFL history.​ This is what makes the draft so exciting.​ Every team has their own expectations and every rookie has an opportunity to make their dreams come true.​

It’s going to be very interesting to see how these rookies will fare in the NFL.​ Garrett and Trubisky have huge expectations, and they will be heavily scrutinized as they transition to the professional level.​ On the other hand, Reddick and McKinley have lower expectations and they could surprise some people.​

With the 2017 NFL draft in the books, all eyes now turn to the upcoming season.​ All of these rookies will have the opportunity to make a huge impact on the game of football.​ Who knows, maybe one of them will become the next big star of the NFL.​ I can’t wait to find out!
