Boy do I ever have some news to tell you, my friend! On the morning of April 29th 2021, Jarrett Patterson was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the NFL draft! I’m so pumped for him and I couldn’t be more proud. It’s been a long road for Jarrett and I’m so excited to see him fulfill his dream of playing in the NFL!
The Bills drafted him in the fifth round, selecting the former UCLA offensive lineman. And I’m sure it came as no surprise to anyone who has followed Jarrett since he started playing football in high school. He was an absolute beast on the field and always showed great leadership. He was the kind of guy who would light up the locker room, as well as the field. And he definitely earned his spot in the NFL.
I first heard about him when I was in college. He was playing for UCLA at the time and he made quite a stir with his incredible play. Everywhere we went, you heard his name and everyone knew who he was. I also got to watch him play in person a few times and let me tell you, he was fierce! You could just feel the intensity from him, it was like no one else was on the field.
It’s been a long road for Jarrett and he worked hard for this moment. He entered the draft strong and dedicated and it paid off. This is a huge accomplishment for him and I’m sure it’s going to be an exciting journey in the NFL for him! He has the skills and desire to become one of the top players in the league.
The Bills made a great choice with Jarrett Patterson. He has the strength and athleticism to help take the Bills to the next level. His size and mobility are unparalleled. And I know he’ll have the drive and determination to succeed. He’ll have big shoes to fill, but I know he’s up for the challenge.
So many people have supported him on this journey and it’s great to see him getting the recognition he deserves. Even though he was passed up a few times in the draft, he never gave up and he stayed positive. He kept pushing himself and now he can finally call himself an NFL player. It’s a well-deserved accomplishment and I’m so proud of him.
From here on out, he’ll have to work even harder to make it in the NFL. He’ll have to compete for starting positions and prove himself. But I know he’ll rise to the occasion, like he always does, and I’m sure he won’t let success go to his head. Go Jarrett! I can’t wait to see what he’ll do in the league this season.
