It’s finally here! The NFL schedule release 23 is out and I for one am ecstatic. You better believe it, when all the teams were announced I felt like a kid on Christmas morning. I could not wait to rip into the details of the schedule. I felt like I was riding a roller coaster of emotions as I scrolled through my phone to get the latest updates.
The first thing I noticed was that the season kicks off with a double header in the primetime slot. Why wouldn’t it? Who doesn’t love a super bowl rematch with the Buccaneers and Packers? I sure do. Talk about a match up for the ages, the electric atmosphere in the stadium should be absolutely electrifying. If that wasn’t enough, the Sunday night match up made me chuckle. I mean.. two of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers, squaring off against each other? Now that’s must-watch TV.
As I flicked through the rest of the schedule, I find myself becoming more and more excited. To top off the mouthwatering matchups, each division will play for the primetime slot with a Thursday night and then there will be the annual Thanksgiving triple header. It’s enough to make my head spin!
One thing I’m particularly excited about is to see what my favorite teams are going to do on the field. They sure have made a smart move to acquire new players so I’m eager to see them do their thing and get some wins. Also, with not so much of an opportunity to travel abroad this year, I can’t wait to watch my favorite players go head to head against each other from the comfort of my own living room.
But that’s not all, the schedule also includes other interesting and unique matchups. There’s a game that will be held on a Monday afternoon, a midweek game in November, and even a mid-season Saturday night game. Talk about thrilling!
The NFL season 23 promises to be a wild one. Every week has its own story to tell, with its own set of unique matchups. There’s so much to look forward to. Every new piece of information just whets my appetite to see the season get underway. I can’t wait for kick off!
